Texas commences the 2024 time because the No. 1 rated workforce during the AVCA Preseason Coaches’ Poll for that fifth time (2024, 2023, 2021, 2017, 2013). The Longhorns appear in the top four with the AVCA preseason poll to the 18th-consecutive season and they are ranked in the top two places for your eleventh time in the last eighteen seasons. Texas, who was picked very first within the SEC Coaches’ Poll, is among 6 SEC teams in the best-25 as Kentucky checks in at No. nine, Florida came in at No. 11, Tennessee is rated fifteenth, Arkansas isn't any. 19 and Ga rounds out the poll at No. 25. In non-convention play, Texas will deal with four preseason ranked groups – No. three Wisconsin, No. 18 Minnesota, No. 5 Stanford and No. 23 Baylor.
